Not at all! It’s easy to switch from another service. Once you’re signed up, simply switch out your old service’s RTMP url and stream key for ours, and you’ll be ready for your first stream with us.
Streaming equipment can be simple or complex, depending on the size of your production needs. There are a wide range of possibilities for configuration, but it starts with as simple of a setup as a camera and a computer. Get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to connect you with our partners that can make the best recommendations for live streaming equipment, tailored to your needs.
Our platform works with most encoders and streaming programs, including Wirecast, Flash Media Live Encoder, and Open Broadcaster Software (OBS). As long as the encoder or program you’re using supports RTMP streaming, it will work with ChurchLab.
We provide support Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm EST. We also provide extended support on Sunday mornings from 8am – 2pm EST and Wednesday nights until 10pm EST.
We’re happy to provide limited technical support for problems related to our platform and streaming to our platform from encoders/streaming computers. However, there’s a wide range of issues that can come from production equipment (cameras, video switchers, cabling, sound boards), in which we recommend connecting with one of our A/V consultants to get help resolving.

Absolutely! Our embeddable player works great with church apps and we also provide a direct streaming URL for some custom mobile application needs.
