SRT is here – and available for all plans on ChurchLab. An alternative to RTMP, it enables streaming that’s resilient to network drops. While previously available to only Pro plans, we wanted to make this available for every church – to ensure challenging network conditions have minimal impact on online ministry.
SRT stands for Secure Reliable Transport. SRT is an open source video transport protocol and technology stack that optimizes video streaming performance across unpredictable networks. SRT is supported in OBS, Wirecast, Vmix, and a limited number of other hardware and software encoders.
